Ph.D. Notification 2023-2024
Applications are invited for the admission to the Ph.D. programme in the subjects of Economics and Political Science from the eligible candidates as per VCD/947 of 2018 of University of Mumbai.
Candidates fulfilling one of the following criteria are eligible to apply for admission to the Ph.D. programme.
1. Qualified in PET (Ph.D. Entrance Test) /GATE/SET/NET(JRF) Examination or Equivalent Examination. Eligible candidate shall apply in the prescribed form available in the Research Centre's office and submit to the Research Centre on or before 20th December 2023.
2. 5 students for each subject. Reservation Criteria will be followed.
Procedure:
1. Eligible candidate should submit the duly filled form with all documents in Research Centre's office on or before 31 December 2023.
2. After scrutiny of the applications, a list of eligible candidate will be displayed on the center website/notice board (www.chavancentre.org)
3. The eligible candidates will be interviewed by the Research Advisory Committee on the date that will be notified later. The eligible candidates will be informed accordingly. Candidate must have to present their proposed research topic before the committee at the time of interview.
4. The list of selected candidates will be displayed on the center website/notice board. (www.chavancentre.org)
5. The selected candidates shall have to submit the outline of their research proposal in consultation with his/her guide to the center along with the the prescribed fees, subject to confirmation of their topic.
6. The selected candidates are required to submit the copy of their research proposal and other relevant documents with prescribed fees to University of Mumbai for topic approval.
