Late Yashwantrao Chavan, the sculptor of United Maharashtra

After independence, Maharashtra and the country need not only law and order but also development oriented administration. Yashwantrao was one of the leading visionaries. Yashwantrao was as visionary in recognizing the need for development-oriented governance as he was in implementing it successfully in the state of Maharashtra. By showing a different impression of the administration, Yashwantrao had set an example for the country. The 'common man' was the focus of his political, social and economic policy. At the national level, he created the state of Maharashtra as a 'progressive state'.

डॉ. राणी बंग आणि अभय बंग यांना 'यशवंतराव चव्हाण राष्ट्रीय पुरस्कार २०२४' जाहीर

मुंबई - यशवंतराव चव्हाण सेंटरच्यातर्फे दरवर्षी ‘यशवंतराव चव्हाण राष्ट्रीय पुरस्कार’ दिला जातो. सन २०२४ चा ‘यशवंतराव चव्हाण राष्ट्रीय पुरस्कार’ डॉ. राणी बंग आणि डॉ. अभय बंग यांना जाहीर झाला आहे. स्व. यशवंतराव चव्हाण साहेबांच्या जयंतीदिनी म्हणजेच १२ मार्च २०२५ रोजी हा पुरस्कार वितरण सोहळा आयोजित केला असून चव्हाण सेंटरचे अध्यक्ष आदरणीय शरद पवार साहेब यांच्या हस्ते हा पुरस्कार दिला जाणार आहे.

चव्हाण सेंटरतर्फे राष्ट्रीय पातळीवर राष्ट्रीय एकात्मता, लोकशाहीमूल्ये तसेच सामाजिक-आर्थिक या क्षेत्रांमध्ये उत्कृष्ट कार्य करणा-या नामवंत व्यक्ती किंवा संस्थेला 'यशवंतराव चव्हाण राष्ट्रीय पुरस्कार' देण्यात येतो. यशवंतराव चव्हाण साहेबांच्या स्मृतिप्रीत्यर्थ हा पुरस्कार दिला जातो. पाच लाख रुपये व सन्मानपत्र असे पुरस्काराचे स्वरुप आहे.

डॉ. राणी बंग आणि डॉ. अभय बंग हे वैद्यकीय क्षेत्रातील प्रतिष्ठित नाव आहे. डॉ. राणी आणि डॉ. अभय बंग यांनी त्यांच्या सहकाऱ्यांसह राष्ट्रीय आणि आंतरराष्ट्रीय पातळीवर पथदर्शी ठरलेला ग्रामीण आरोग्य सेवा कार्यक्रम विकसित केला आहे. या डॉक्टर दांपत्याने दारूविरोधी मोहिम राबविली, ज्यामुळे गडचिरोली जिल्ह्यात दारूबंदी लागू करण्यात आली. त्यांनी तंबाखू आणि दारूचे सेवन कमी करण्याच्या उद्देशाने 'मुक्तिपथ' ची संकल्पना मांडली आणि त्याचे नेतृत्व केले. डॉ. राणी आणि डॉ. अभय बंग यांना २०१८ मध्ये भारत सरकारने 'पद्मश्री' देऊन सन्मानित केले आहे.

शैक्षणिक धोरणाच्या अंमलबजावणीचे काय? राज्यस्तरीय शिक्षण परिषदेत शिक्षणतज्ञांचा सवाल

मुंबई - शैक्षणिक धोरण आराखडा २०२४ मध्ये शालेय शिक्षण, कला, व्यावसायिक शिक्षणाचा समावेश अभ्यासक्रमात केला आहे; पण अंमलबजावणीबाबत नियोजनाचा त्यामध्ये काहीच उल्लेख नाही. व्यावसायिक शिक्षणाचा शालेय अभ्यासक्रम आराखड्यात समावेश होणे महत्त्वाचे आहे. मात्र, या धोरणाच्या अंमलबजावणीसाठी मनुष्यबळ आणि अर्थबळ मिळाले नाही, तर ते यशस्वी कसे होणार, असा सवाल शिक्षणतज्ज्ञांनी यशवंतराव चव्हाण सेंटरमध्ये रविवारी झालेल्या एकदिवसीय राज्यस्तरीय शैक्षणिक परिषदेमध्ये उपस्थित केला.

या शैक्षणिक आराखड्यामध्ये बाळ जन्मल्यापासून ते जबाबदार नागरिक होईपर्यंत त्याच्या शिक्षणाबद्दल नियोजन मांडलेले दिसते, असे निरीक्षण शिक्षणतज्ज्ञ प्रा. डॉ. सुनील कुमार लवटे यांनी नोंदविले. परिषदेस २८ जिल्ह्यांमधून शिक्षक, अभ्यासकांनी हजेरी लावली. आपली मते, सूचना यशवंतराव चव्हाण सेंटरकडे मांडा. त्या शिक्षणमंत्री आणि संबंधित मंत्रालयाकडे पोहोचवण्याचे काम मी नक्की करेन, असे आश्वासन राष्ट्रवादीच्या शरद पवार गटाच्या खा. सुप्रिया सुळे यांनी दिले.

चॅट जीपीटीच्या माध्यमातून विद्यार्थी आता आपले प्रश्न सोडवणार आहेत, ही चिंताजनक बाब आहे. स्वतःच्या बुद्धीचा वापर कमीत कमी झाल्यानंतर विद्यार्थ्यांचा बौद्धिक विकास कसा होणार? अशी चिंता त्यांनी व्यक्त केली.

पुण्याच्या जिल्हा शिक्षण व प्रशिक्षण संस्थेचे वरिष्ठ अधिव्याख्याता डॉ. विकास गरड यांनी विद्यार्थ्यांना आता शिक्षणासोबतच कार्यानुभव मिळणार असल्याने त्यांना शिक्षण संपत असताना वेगळ्या अनुभवाची गरज लागणार नसल्याचे सांगितले. डॉ. योगेश कुलकर्णी यांनी अभ्यासक्रम आराखड्यात व्यवसाय शिक्षणाचे महत्त्व सांगितले.

यशवंतराव चव्हाण सेंटरचा डाॅ.कुमुद बन्सल उत्कृष्ट शैक्षणिक ग्रंथ पुरस्कार-२०२४ जाहीर

यशवंतराव चव्हाण सेंटर शिक्षण विकास मंच यांच्या वतीने देण्यात येणारा डाॅ.कुमुद बन्सल उत्कृष्ट शैक्षणिक ग्रंथ पुरस्कार-२०२४ योगेश कुलकर्णी लिखित 'कहाणी पाबळच्या विज्ञान आश्रमाची' या पुस्तकाला जाहीर झाला आहे. शिक्षण विकास मंच, यशवंतराव चव्हाण सेंटरचे मुख्य संयोजक ज्येष्ठ शिक्षणतज्ज्ञ डॉ.वसंत काळपांडे यांच्या मार्गदर्शनाखाली मुकुंद संगोराम, शिवाजी तांबे, डाॅ. वृषाली देहडराय, महेंद्र गणपुले या अभ्यासकाच्या समितीने या पुरस्कार निवडीचे काम केले आहे.

उत्कृष्ट शैक्षणिक ग्रंथ पुरस्कार २०२४ ची निवड करण्यासाठी जी समिती निर्माण करण्यात आली होती, त्या समितीने गेल्या शैक्षणिक वर्षातील पुरस्कारासाठी राज्यभरातून जे ७२ ग्रंथ आले होते. त्या ग्रंथाचे आशय,निर्मितीमूल्य, मांडणी आणि उपयुक्तता या चार निकषाच्या आधारे परीक्षण केले. या पुस्तकांमध्ये शिक्षण विषयक एखादा नवीन प्रयोग मांडण्यात आला आहे का? तो प्रयोग इतर शिक्षकांना मार्गदर्शक ठरण्याजोग आहे का? याचे परीक्षण करून आणि या पुस्तकांमधून शिक्षकांसाठी उपयुक्त ठरणाऱ्या कोणत्या गोष्टी आहेत याचा विचार करून शेवटी समितीने 'कहाणी पाबळच्या विज्ञान आश्रमाची' या योगेश कुलकर्णी लिखित पुस्तकाला डाॅ.कुमुद बन्सल उत्कृष्ट शैक्षणिक ग्रंथ पुरस्कार २०२४ मिळाल्याचे जाहीर केले.

या पुस्तकांमधून ग्रामीण भागामध्ये ग्रामीण तंत्रज्ञानाचे प्रयोग डॉ. योगेश कुलकर्णी यांनी यशस्वीपणे पुढे कसे नेले? ग्रामीण तंत्रज्ञानाच्या प्रयोग करून विविध व्यवसाय कशाप्रकारे विकसित झाले. ग्रामीण तरूणांना रोजगार कशाप्रकारे प्राप्त झाला. त्यांतील आत्मविश्वास वाढीस लागून, संशोधन वृत्ती कशी वाढीस लागली.याच्या यशोगाथा या पुस्तकातून मांडण्यात आल्या आहेत. शैक्षणिक धोरण २०२० मध्ये मांडण्यात आलेल्या व्यवसायिक शिक्षणाबाबतच्या विचारांना प्रत्यक्षात आणण्याचे काम या विज्ञानश्रमाने गेली कित्येक दशके आधीपासून सुरू केले आहे. या प्रयोगाच्या लेखाजोखा या पुस्तकात मांडण्यात आला आहे.

या पुस्तकाच्या व्यतिरिक्त आणखीन तीन पुस्तकाची लक्षवेधक पुस्तके म्हणून निवड करण्यात आली. या पुस्तकांना मानचिन्ह व प्रमाणपत्र देण्यात येणार आहे.

१- धमाल भटकंती कमाल शिकण्याची- शिवराज पिपडे. (प्रकाशन - ज्ञान प्रबोधिनी ) २-घाट शिकण्या शिकवण्याचा सुचिता पडळकर आणि इंद्रजीत भोसले. ( प्रकाशक - सृजन आनंद विद्यालय कोल्हापूर ) ३-माझे शाळेतील प्रयोग-स्मिता गौड (प्रकाशन - राजहंस प्रकाशन) ही तिन्ही पुस्तके शिक्षणप्रेमी वाचकांनी व शिक्षकांनी निश्चितपणे वाचावीत अशी आहेत. या पुस्तकात मांडण्यात आलेले उपक्रम व लेखकांचे अनुभव शिक्षकांना प्रेरणादायक आणि अनुकरण करण्याचे आहे.

सदरील पुरस्कार रविवार, दिनांक ५ जानेवारी २०२५ रोजी शिक्षण विकास मंच, यशवंतराव चव्हाण सेंटर आयोजित पंधराव्या राज्यस्तरीय शिक्षण परिषदेत मान्यवरांच्या उपस्थितीत प्रदान करण्यात येणार आहे.

I was active in Pune in 1960 as an activist in the student movement. At the same time, United Maharashtra was formed and Yashwantrao Chavan became the first Chief Minister of Maharashtra. After taking office, Chavan Saheb was to visit Shivneri, the birthplace of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. We all reached Shivneri by bicycle. Chavan Saheb's entire politics was decent and cultured. To suit him, he said, "The struggle for a united Maharashtra is history. Let's forget that struggle and stand united to create a new Maharashtra."

In new direction

The sculptor of New Maharashtra and the first Chief Minister of Maharashtra Hon. Yashwantrao laid the foundation for the development of agro-industrial society. After the Maharashtra state government, they implemented the three-tier structure of the state's Dhura Panchayat state and created a workshop for shaping political leadership in the central society, and giving place to the common man. This is the legacy of thought and action that we are trying to run locally at Yashwantrao Chavan Centre. The work of Yashwantrao Chavan Centre is based on the values of service, creativity, accountability, proficiency and reliability.

Sharad Pawar Inspire Fellowship

Respected Sharad Chandraji Pawar Saheb in his more than 60 years of public life has done revolutionary work in various fields such as agriculture, industrial development, social justice, youth welfare, education and women empowerment. To salute his extraterrestrial work, the Yashwantrao Chavan Centre has launched the Sharad Pawar Inspire Fellowship in the fields of Agriculture, Literature and Education. This is an attempt to open new horizons of opportunity for the budding, talented and newcomers to Maharashtra.

We believe that young people who are determined to take up the challenge can shape their dreams through this fellowship and contribute to the future of a prosperous and civilized Maharashtra.

The Pawar Innovation Fellowship

The sculptor of United Maharashtra, Hon. Yashwantrao Chavan is the standard of Marathi mind. First Chief Minister of United Maharashtra. He was a visionary leader who laid the foundation of Maharashtra's agricultural and industrial development, weaved a web of co-operation in Maharashtra and gave a sense of its democratic strength to the lower castes through the Panchayat State. Even in the politics of the country, whenever a difficult situation arises, the leader who plays an important role in the stability of the country and gives direction to the national politics by managing the relevant accounts competently.

Divyang Wedding Ceremony

Yashwantrao Chavan Centre organizes a ‘Divyang Marriage Ceremony’ every year to commemorate the birthday of Hon’ble Sharadchandraji Pawar. In this ceremony, YCC takes care of marriage expenses, gift household materials and some other useful things. This initiative has received a huge response from the differently-abled persons belonging to the economically weaker sections of the society.

The first ‘Divyang Marriage Ceremony’ organized by Yashwantrao Chavan Centre was held on January 3, 2022, on the birth anniversary of Krantijyoti Savitribai Phule.

In an advanced state like Maharashtra, the proportion of girls is declining day by day. In 1991, the proportion of girls in Maharashtra was 946 per thousand boys. In 2001, it dropped by 33 to 913, and according to the 2011 census, it dropped by another 30 to 883. There is a situation where the right to give birth to a daughter is being taken away. The fact that girls are being killed before they are born by abusing modern technology is a very serious matter. This will create many social problems in the future. In this context, to create awareness in the minds of common people, Yashwantrao Chavan Centre trustee Supriya Sule has organized an initiative against female feticide 'Jagar Ha Janivancha.. Tumchya Mazya Lekincha ...'
