Many primary and secondary school teachers across the state are involved in non-curricular educational activities and write extensively on various challenges faced in the field of education along with various literary works (poems, prose, plays, etc). If we study the history of Marathi Literature it is observed that the literary writers were mainly teachers.
Teachers Literature Festival organized by Yashwantrao Chavan Center held once every two years, aims at providing a platform for teachers to present their writings, thoughts, ideas, and experiences.
