Hearing Loss: Diagnosis and Treatment

The ability of children to read, learn and comprehend is affected on the account of non availability of a hearing aid. Moreover, for senior citizens the ability to hear is also affected with age. In order to address this, the Hearing Impairment Screening and Prevention program is implemented in a phased manner across the state. For this purpose, Yashwantrao Chavan Center organizes several camps across Maharashtra for name registration, pre-examination and distribution of hearing aids.
