Zilla Parishads, Municipal Corporations, Municipalities and Nagar Parishads across the state have 5 percent of their total budget reserved for various programs aimed at the rehabilitation of individuals with disabilities.
Yashwantrao Chavan Center is taking a regular follow up with Government of Maharashtra for introducing and implementing - Rajmata Jijau Financial Assistance Scheme in the state. This scheme will include various programs meant for the rehabilitation of children with special needs and also provide allowance to their mothers.
