Early diagnostic Evaluation and Timely Intervention

It is easy to address the issue of hearing disability among children between the age group of 0 to 3 by the means of appropriate early inventions. Such early interventions have a positive impact on the emotional, physical, academic and social development of children. National Program for Prevention and Control of Deafness examines children with hearing disability at all Government Hospitals and Medical Colleges across the state with Otoacoustic Emission (OAE) Technology. Yashwantrao Chavan Center facilitates the implementation of the scheme and takes regular follow-up.
