On the occasion of International Women’s Day, women excelling in various fields are awarded the ‘Mahila Gaurav Puraskar’ by the Yashwantrao Chavan Centre in 2019.
Along with this, the Yashwantrao Chavan Centre started the 'Yashaswini Sanman Puraskar' in 2022, to felicitate women who have made outstanding contributions in the fields of Agriculture, Literature, Social work, Sports, Business (or Industry) and Journalism.
Yashaswini Agricultural Award
This award is given to a woman for her contribution to the field of agriculture and acknowledges the innovative practices she has developed. Yashwantrao Chavan Centre by the means of this award, wishes to highlight the invaluable contribution of women in the field of agriculture.

Yashwantrao Chavan Centre by the means of this award recognizes the accomplishments made by women in the industrial sector and the contribution made to our economy.

Yashwantrao Chavan Centre invites applications online for the above-mentioned awards and the awardees are selected by a panel of experts in the respective fields. These awardees receive Rs. 21,000 as prize along with a certificate and memento.
